Woodbridge Little League – 2019 Season – Terms and Conditions

By submitting a registration for the 2019 Season, you are indicating your acknowledgement and your agreement to our Terms and Conditions:

Registrations:

  • Online Registrations (beginning Dec 1st, 2018):
    • Only considered official with full payment at time of form submission.
    • Those who do not make payment after submitting their form will have their registrations cancelled immediately.
    • PayPal (Visa, MC, AMEX, and Visa Debit) payments are available online.
  • In-Person Registrations (TBD – if necessary):
    • PayPal (Visa, MC, AMEX, and Visa Debit) and Cheque payments are available in-person.
    • Returned payments are subject to a $35 NSF fee.
  • Parents/Guardians are responsible to ensure that players are registered in the correct age division.  Please check our FAQ section on the registrations menu on our website for information on selecting the right division.
  • Each participant is in good health and holds sufficient medical and dental coverage.
  • WLL cannot guarantee assignment of players to specific teams.  WLL reserves the right to move players during the season for the purpose of balancing teams to even out skill level.
  • You give us permission to take and publish photographs of all participants (Players, Spectators, Coaches, Umpires, Volunteers) which may appear on the WLL website or other WLL advertising and marketing materials.
  • Acceptance of all registrations may be subject to WLL executive approval.
  • Players of the following ages will be subject to an assessment of skills and require the approval of the President of Baseball Operations to play in the following divisions:
    • Tee-ball division
      • No restrictions or approvals required; players must be (or are turning) between the ages of 4 and 6 before Sept 1, 2019.
    • Rookie Division
      • Players who turn or are 6 years old during the 2019 season.
    • Minor Division
      • Players who turn or are 8 years old during the 2019 season.
    • Major Division
      • Players who turn or are 10 years old during the 2019 season.

Refund Policy

  • All refund requests must be in writing.
    • Email must be sent and received at info@wllb.ca by the dates indicated below.
  • Refund schedule
    • House League Registrations:
      • Full Refund up to March 1st, 2019 (minus $35.00 administration fee for each refund).
      • 50% Refund between March 2nd and March 31st, 2019 (minus $35 administration fee for each refund)
      • No refunds allowed after March 31st, 2019 (no exceptions).
    • Minor Advanced Development Program Registration:
      • Full Refund up to Dec 31st, 2018 (minus $35.00 administration fee for each refund).
      • No refunds allowed after Dec 31st, 2018 (no exceptions).
    • Note that those who register for both house league and development programs will only receive a full refund for both portions of their payment before Dec 31st.  Refund requests after Dec 31st will only be considered for the House League portion of payments made.
  • Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, in the same payment method they were received.

Privacy Statement:

WLL recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of WLL members.  Any information collected, including member registrations, phone numbers and/or correspondence, will only be used for the purpose of conducting WLL business.

Waiver

By registering my child to play at Woodbridge Little League, I as undersign, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrations, and assigns, shall and do hereby exonerate Woodbridge Little League Association, its successors and assigns and hold it harmless from all claims, suits, and liabilities whatsoever their nature and howsoever they may arise by reason of said Association allowing my child to participate or to participate otherwise in any of the activities sponsored by the WLL, its employees, agents and representatives to transport the above named registrant to a local hospital for medical treatment, if necessary. .
